The department for neurology focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system that includes the brain, spinal cord and all the nerves that connect them to the rest of the body. Our competent neurologists work closely with neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
They specialise in treating all kinds of brain tumours, brain infections, Hydrocephalus, Nerve Disorders, Neuro-Muscular Junction Disorder (Myasthenia), Traumatic Head Injuries, Spinal Degenerative Diseases, Congenital Anomalies of the brain & spine as well as all neurovascular diseases/trauma of the brain & spine. The team also deals with conditions such as dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, chronic pains, sleep disorders, headaches, multiple sclerosis and various other neuromuscular diseases.
The ultra-modern infrastructure includes Neuroimaging facility and Neurophysiology Lab, supported by advanced CT, PET, MRI, and Cerebral DSA, providing facilities like EEG, Video EEG, Bedside EEG, Sleep Deprived EEG, EMG and MNCV for high-end diagnosis and treatment.
