Overview

The dedicated department for Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant at Sarvodaya Cancer Institute treats blood cancer and other diseases with haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, also known as bone marrow transplant.

We have all provisions for Autologous Transplants (using the patient’s own stem cells) & Allogeneic Transplants (using the bone marrow of a compatible donor) where healthy stem cells or bone marrow are transplanted into the patient, restoring their body’s ability to form more red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.

Our oncologists provide cancer patients with counselling, investigation and treatment for various benign & malignant disorders like Thalassemia, Aplastic Anaemia, Leukaemia, Lymphomas, Multiple Myelomas and Advanced Paediatric Solid Tumours.
