The Department of Medical Oncology at Sarvodaya Cancer Institute is known for its superior patient care and clinical outcomes. Bone marrow transplant results as the best alternative method to treat a few categories of blood disorders. Here at Sarvodaya Cancer Institute, we have dedicated bone marrow transplant unit. This unit required extreme sanitation, hygiene and 0% infection and at this centre, we have a record of treating more than 100 patients successfully within 2 years of its inception.

The centre also undertakes Preventive Oncology by conducting screenings, cancer awareness & educational programs. The Department of Medical Oncology deals with Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, and Targeted therapy in combination with chemotherapy to treat cancer more effectively. They also manage the side effects of chemotherapy ranging from common to rarer ones, so that patients can lead relatively normal lives while receiving chemotherapy.

With the constant support of our In-house Imaging Centre, excellent histopathology and advanced lab Sarvodaya Cancer Institute is backed by the latest technology including a PET CT, Gamma Camera, 6D LINAC and International Radiology.

Bone Marrow Transplant: We have a dedicated team and department for Bone Marrow Transplant at the Sarvodaya Cancer Institute, which is fully dedicated to the advancement of haematopoietic stem cell transplant procedures.

Chemotherapy of all solid tumours: We offer technologically advanced chemotherapy services for all type of cancers & tumours. 

Targetted Therapy and Immunotherapy: We offer a range of Targetted Therapy and Immunotherapy to treat cancer patients. 

Intraperitoneal chemotherapy: This therapy is used for the treatment of ovarian cancer, which delivers chemotherapy drugs straight into the abdominal cavity to destroy the cancer cells.

Intravesical chemotherapy: This chemotherapy deals with putting the drugs right into the bladder through a catheter to stop cancer cell growth.

Hormonal therapy: Our oncologists also refer hormonal therapy to treat various cancer especially thyroid cancer. 

Preventive Oncology: We offer a range of preventive oncology services which include screening, cancer awareness and educational program and vaccination.
