Sarvodaya, through its philanthropic endeavor - Sarvodaya Foundation aims to raise funds from corporates and individuals to support underprivileged children and adults for lifesaving treatments, BMT, emergency surgeries and more.
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give” - Winston Churchill
In the kind deed of giving, we get the biggest reward of life; a life lived to save other lives is worth living. Wealth, calculated in smiles, prayers and hope, is infinitely more valuable than any currency. Having witnessed millions of such smiles and felt heartbeats of tiny hearts, we feel obligated to reach out to a wider community and lend our helping and healing hands to people in need.
At Sarvodaya, we have been bestowed with the trust and faith of our national and international patients, hence our sincere endeavor to give back to the community. CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility is more like our duty, an act of kindness, an effort to save lives, and reignite hope - not just for the ailing but their despondent families.
Over the years, we have conducted numerous free health check-up camps, screening programs, health talks, awareness activities, events and free surgeries, significantly impacting the lives of countless individuals and families in both urban and remote areas.
Our initiatives focus on children and adults who face life-altering medical challenges. We provide free surgeries and treatments for young children with severe health conditions, including heart issues, cleft lip, blood cancer, and hearing impairment. Moreover, we strive to provide ER & critical care to needy people at subsidised costs to ensure everyone, irrespective of their ailment and background, gets medical attention on time. We wish to bridge the gap between people and medical care, in a way that no one goes untreated from the hospital.
Let us walk you through our most heartful program, initiated for underprivileged children, where we heal them of their life-altering ailments and restore hope of their parents by giving their children a chance to live a normal and healthy life.
Congenital heart defects are among the most common birth defects, and without timely intervention, they can be life-threatening. Our expert cardiac surgeons perform complex heart surgeries to give these young patients a new lease on life. So far, we have healed the hearts of at least 1500+ young Bravehearts with minimally invasive and conventional heart surgeries.
Hearing loss can significantly impact a child's development and quality of life. Our cochlear implant program provides children with severe hearing impairments the opportunity to hear and engage fully with the world around them, opening up new possibilities for their education and social interactions. Through awareness programs and support from the government’s ADIP scheme and NGOs, we have successfully treated over 300 young children with free cochlear implant surgeries.
For children battling severe blood disorders and cancers, a bone marrow transplant can be a critical, life-saving procedure. Sarvodaya’s dedicated Haematology and BMT Centre is at the forefront of cancer treatment and has successfully performed over 200 BMTs, including both Autologous transplants (using the patient's stem cells) and Allogeneic transplants (using the bone marrow of a compatible donor).
Children born with cleft lip and palate often struggle with feeding, speech, and social integration. Our skilled plastic surgeons provide corrective surgeries to restore their smiles and improve their quality of life. We conducted free paediatric cleft lip surgeries for at least 150 children, in collaboration with a team of over 35 doctors from Rotaplast International, America, supported by the Rotary Club and American healthcare professionals.
9-month-old Mannat, born mute and deaf much like her parents, can now listen to the lullabies of her grandmother and is on her way to speaking her first word after her Cochlear Implant Surgery, covered under our Hope Initiative.
11-year-old Kavita, born with multiple holes in her heart and exhibiting symptoms like breathlessness and blue baby syndrome, today lives a healthy life like other children of her age after successful heart surgery at our hospital, supported by the contribution of some generous donors.
Kavita, Mannat and hundreds of other children are leading a healthy life today, while their parents have set new dreams and aspirations for their future. Once overshadowed by deteriorating health conditions, their future now shines bright after successful surgeries at Sarvodaya Hospital. As they step alongside their peers, thousands of other helpless kids are still waiting for the right treatment.
Your contribution can help them not only with timely life-saving treatment but also give them a chance to sit with other children in the classroom, play on the grounds, lead a healthy life and aim towards all their dreams and goals. Their future is in your hands, so why not extend it to give them the support they seek?
Gift a healthy life to someone and restore hope for their entire family. It is your chance to make a profound difference with which needy children can get timely lifesaving treatment and care. Join us in this noble cause and help build a healthier, happier future for everyone.
